Welcome to the November 2011 issue of The Fundraising Journal. In our 1st case study we are showing how the use of color and things like the Livestrong Band and the Pink Ribbon have been used to raise money and create brand awareness and supporter awareness. In our 2nd case study we are analyzing two of the non-profit spaces biggest organizations, UNICEF and Goodwill. We are highlighting their efforts in generating revenues around the holiday's with a mix of corporate marketing strategies and cause integration.

In our Corporate spotlight we are showcasing Foursquare and their alliances with charity's and fundraising, Finally in our individual spotlight we are highlighting Charles Best. A lunch with colleagues inspired him to start Donors Choose. A decade later he has raised over 100 million dollars and help spawn several other organizations.
